Hershel Ham

Mr. Hershel Ham, age 82 of Fayette, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017 at his residence. Funeral services will be held Friday, December 15, 2017 at 2-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Fayette Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday from 1-2 P.M. at the funeral home. Survivors include his wife of 61 years: Bessie Dean Ham of Fayette, three sons: Carl Ham (Sally), Tim Ham (Debbie), and Joel Ham all of Fayette, one brother: Albert Hamm, two sisters: Rachel Watkins and Alecia Holder, eight grandchildren: Deidra Long (John), Jennifer McComb (Shawn), Joshua Ham (Chasity), William Ham, Amanda Ham, Celeste Kennard (Robert), Nick Gant (Melanie), and Derek Gant, eleven great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: Fred and Augie Ham, brother: Billie Ham, sisters: Nell Rainwater, and Sally Housh, and granddaughter: Amy Ham. Pallbearers will be: Joshua Ham, William Ham, John Long, Shawn McComb, Danny Hayes and Bo Hayes.
