Willie Frances Sanford

Mrs. Frances Sanford, age 89 of Berry, passed away Saturday, December 27, 2025 at her residence. 

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at 2-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12-2 P.M. at the funeral home. 

She was preceded in death by her parents: Joseph and Lorreta Morrison, husband: Willie T. Sanford Sr., daughter: Linda Sanford, great-grandson: Rivers Gardner, and brother: Joseph "Bud" Morrison. 

Survivors include two sons: Willie Thomas Sanford, Jr. of Berry, Jarrett Sanford (Nicky) of Berry, four daughters: Barbara Terry of Fayette, Debbie Patilla of Berry, Brenda Gardner (Guy) of Berry, and Connie Sentell of Reform, three brothers: Eddy Joe Morrison (Mae) of Northport, Hubert Morrison (Cindy) of Fayette, and Herbert Morrison (Janice) of Fayette, two sisters: Sue Skelton (Steve) of Fayette, and Kay Nelson (Ed) of Fayette, 13 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and 14 great-great-grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers are: Kevin Terry, Daniel Gardner, Todd Watkins, and Hospice of Jasper. 

Active pallbearers will be: Shannon Terry, Dalton Terry, Tyler Nelson, Jason Nelson, Gage Sanford, and Calvin Doremus.
