William Townley Obituary
Mr. William C. "Bill" Townley, age 87 of Fayette, passed away Saturday, July 27, 2024 at Hospice of West Alabama.
Funeral services will be held Monday, July 29, 2024 at 1-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Fayette Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Monday from 12-1 P.M. at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Yvonne Townley, son: Timothy Townley, father: Tip Townley, mother: Gracie Dempsey Townley, step-mother: Mary Lou Townley, sisters: Mildred Steadman, and Agnes Riley, and a brother: Hershell Townley.
Survivors include a step-son: Randy Dudley (Laura) of GA, two brothers: Lynn Townley of KY, and Kenneth Townley of IN, four sisters: Sue Noojin, Diane Townley, Debbie Jackson, and Margaret Barton all of Walker County, and two grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be: Randy Dudley, Cody Dudley, Shannon Kelley, Hagen Kelley, and Michael Kelley.
