William "Bill" Franks

Mr. William "Bill"  Franks, age 76 of Bankston, passed away Friday, January 15, 2021 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, January 19, 2021 2-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1-2 P.M. at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife: Geneva Franks of Bankston, sons: Michael Franks of Fayette, James (Debbie) Franks of Haleyville, Ricky (Sabrina) Franks of Bankston, grandson as a son: Zalen Franks of Bankston, brothers: Ronnie Franks and Robbie Franks, sisters: Barbara Griffiths, Betty Connell, Sue Perritt, Marie Robinson, 5 grandchildren, and a host of great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by a sister: Mary Ezell, and parents: Hollis and Kathleen Fisher Franks.
