William Thomas Kizzire, age 19, of Fayette, passed away, May 19, 2020 at North Mississippi Medical Center in Tupelo, Mississippi. He is the son of Tim Kizzire (Lindsay) and Angela Stimac (Mike) of Fayette, brother of Allie Kizzire, and stepbrother to Micah Stimac (Kaeleigh), Kayla Strickland (Chase), Ross Clark (Isabella), and Mary Grace Clark.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 24, 2020 at 4-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fayette Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-4 P.M. at the funeral home.
Will was born on March 17th, 2001. Will was a 2019 graduate of Fayette County High School as well as a four-year member of the Fayette Tiger football family. He attended Bevill State Community College where he had just completed his second term in industrial maintenance. Will was so eager to learn, spending weekdays working in construction along-side his dad and weekends at Fayette Medical Center along-side is mom and sister. Will spent his spare time playing video games and hanging out with friends and family. Although Will was quiet, he would light up a room with his smile and personality as soon as he entered. Will loved to laugh and joke around. He had such a gentle spirit, a huge heart, and smile that made all things better. His loving and caring heart will be remembered by many.
Survivors include his parents: Tim Kizzire (Lindsay) and Angela Stimac (Mike); Sister: Allie Kizzire; Grandparents: Edward and Pheobe Kizzire, Thomas Johnson, Ray Johnson, Kerry Greene, and Betty Stimac. Stepbrothers: Micah Stimac (Kaeleigh), Ross Clark (Isabella); Stepsisters: Kayla Strickland (Chase) and Mary Grace Clark. Nephews: Cason Hill, Parker Stimac, Crimson Strickland, Braxton Nalls. Nieces: Allie Grace Stimac, Emma Strickland, Olivia Clark, as well as Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins.
Will was preceded in death by: Hilda Johnson (Grandmother), Rhonda Johnson (Nana), Teresa Greene (Mawmaw)
Pallbearers: Micah Stimac, Ross Clark, Rusty Kizzire, Hunter Kizzire, Samuel Kizzire, Justin Terry, Karac Cummings and Chase Strickland
Honorary Pallbearers: Starkville Fire and Rescue, Starkville Police Department, Oktibbeha County Sheriff’s Department, Columbus Fire and Rescue, and all other surrounding agencies and rescue personnel that assisted in the rescue.
