Wayne Meadows Obituary
Mr. Wayne Meadows, age 84 of Bankston, passed away Tuesday, May 4, 2021 at his residence.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, May 11, 2021 at 2-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1-2 P.M. at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his parents: John and Elmer Meadows, wife: Marie Rogers Meadows, son: Donald Joe Chambless, daughter: Marilyn Hawkins, brothers: Earl Meadows, Virby Meadows, WC Meadows, JT Meadows, Donald Ray Meadows, Bill Meadows, and a sister: Mary Lou Meadows.
Survivors include his daughter: Sandy Pennington (James) of Fayette, sons: Wilburn Chambless, Ricky Chambless (Wanda), Gary Meadows all of Bankston, five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
Honorary pallbearers are Amedisis Hospice, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Active pallbearers will be: Casey Chambless, Ronald Otts, Faron Keith, Billy Joe Rodgers, Jamie Roberts, Chris Hubbert, and Dylan Barns.
