Wayne Foster

Mr. Wayne Foster, age 74 of Fayette, passed away Thursday, May 16, 2024 at Hospice of West Alabama.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, May 19, 2024 at 2-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Meadow Branch Cemetery. Steve Wright will officiate. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1-2 P.M. at the funeral home.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Grady Wilson Foster and Lalah Kate Hughes Foster, son: Tim Foster, wife: Clara Foster, brother: Eugene (Sue) Foster, sisters: Margene Rushing, Margaret (Don) Freeman, and Elaine Green.

Survivors include nieces, nephews, cousins, brothers-in-laws: Gerald Green and Avon Rushing, step-daughter: Lou Collins, special cousin: Dorthy Hughes, caregiver: Wanda Crowell, 2 grandsons: Colton and Hunter Foster, and special friend: Shirley Luther.

He was a very talented carpentry worker.
