Wanda Jacobs

Mrs. Wanda Jacobs, age 79 of Fayette, passed away Wednesday, May 12, 2021 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 14, 2021 at 6-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Friday from 5-6 P.M. at the funeral home. The family will hold a private graveside at Hopewell Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Leon and Dovie Matthews, brother: Jimmy Matthews, and a grandson: Jason Leon Matthews.

Survivors include her husband: John G. Jacobs, son: John Jacobs (Diana), daughters: Cheryl Owens (Randy), Nona Walker, Denise Hamilton, and Robbie Hamilton, twenty-five grandchildren, thirty-eight great grandchildren, and one great-great grandchild.

Honorary pallbearers are Lawrence Mill Fire Department, Alabama Hospice, Terry Stripling, Frank Hubbert, and Thealon Hubbert.

Active pallbearers will be: Orry Bland, Blaine Jacobs, John Jacobs, Joshua Bland, Darren Chambless, and Randy Owens.
