Walter Eugene Peterson

Mr. Walter Eugene Peterson, age 54 of Berry, passed away Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at Fayette Medical Center.

A memorial service will be announced at a later date.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents: Donald and Marge Cain, Walter and Opal Peterson.

Survivors include his wife: Stefanie Peterson of Berry, son: Jason Peterson of Berry, daughter: Jessica Peterson of Berry, father: Walter Peterson (Phyllis) of Bufflo, WY, mother: Candy Henderson (Dennis) of Glendo, WY, sister: Holly Torress of Casper, WY, brothers: Troy Wallace (Barb) of Saratoga, WY, Grant Hodecker of Cody, WY, and brothers-in-law: Adam Cargile (Mica) and Patrick Cargile (Lisa), both of Tuscaloosa.He was a 1989 graduate of Glenrock High, Glenrock, WY. He got married on August 11, 1995, outside Yellowstone, between Cody and Yellowstone. He drove a flatbed truck, and worked as a safety manager for a drilling company in Casper, WY. He was a loving husband and father, loved fishing and cooking on his grill. He never met a stranger and was loved by all.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Clayton and Garrett Hodecker, Kalysta Kurtz, Joe Jr. and Eli Torress, Tessa and Victoria Cargile, Luna Cargile, Cassie Hiser, Kyle Hoyer, and Breanna Wallace.
