Vaudine Black

Mrs. Vaudine Black, age 88 of Fayette, passed away Friday, November 22, 2019 at Heritage Health and Rehab in Tuscaloosa.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 24, 2019 at 3-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Covin Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-3 P.M. at the funeral home. Ellis Stewart and Jarrett Lovelace will officiate.

Survivors include her brother: Troy Lee Higdon of TN, nieces: Shelby Finney of TN, Diane Crandall of TX, Lanell Chandler, Amanda Till, Barbara Jolly, and Melodie Goaler all of Tuscaloosa, nephews: Randall Higdon of Tuscaloosa, and Dorsey Higdon, Jr., of CA, great niece and nephew: Dawn Moore and Allen Higdon.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Albert Black, parents: Troy and Violet Aldridge Higdon, and six brothers.
