Thermon Hayes

Mr. Thermon Hayes, age 85 of Fayette, passed away Tuesday, September 25, 2018 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held Friday, September 28, 2018 at 2-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Mt. Vernon Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 12-2 P.M. at the funeral home. Bro. Randy Burbank and Bro. Tony Hayes will officiate.

Survivors include his wife: Daris Hayes, two sons: Ricky (Joyce) Hayes and Randy (Lulu) Hayes, daughter: Deanne Vice (Jarred Graham), two  brothers: Fred (Dot) Hayes and Rayburn (Sheila) Hayes, a special friend like a son: James Strickland (Tia Keel),sister-in-law: Betty Hayes, ten grandchildren, and twenty-one great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his father: Jonas J. Hayes, mother: Eunice Springer Hayes, and brother: James Hollis Hayes.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Steve Foster, Steve Graves, Micky McAlpin, Shannon Dozier, and Dale Poole.

Active pallbearers will be: Casey Hayes, Trent Vice, Bryan Hayes, David Edwards, Brady Howell, and Kyle Honeycutt.
