Susan Terry

Mrs. Susan Terry, age 52 of Fayette, passed away April 11, 2026 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, April 18, 2026 at 11-A.M. from Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fayette Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10-11 A.M. at the funeral home. 

She was preceded in death by her parents: Jimmy Watkins and mother: Sara Harris. 

Survivors include her husband: Byron Terry of Fayette. 

Susan lived in Fayette most of her life. She was a graduate of Fayette County High School and received a business accounting degree from MUW. She was married to her best friend for 36 years, Byron Terry. They have 3 fur babies, Patty Cake, Oreo, and Bella. She loved crocheting and loved her LSU football. 

Honorary pallbearers will be: Cody Beard, Kimberly Key, and McCrary Parks. 

Active pallbearers are: Ashley Keeton, Harold Beard, Richard Beard, Gerald Vest, Lance Beard, and William Callahan.
