Sonny Cotton Obituary

Mr. Sonny Cotton, age 78 of Bankston, passed away Sunday, April 25, 2021 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.

Funeral services will be held Friday, April 30, 2021 at 2-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Rehobeth Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 12-2 P.M. at the funeral home. Clay Barnes and Joe Cotton will officiate.

He was preceded in death by his wife: Linda Jean Cotton, and his parents: RolDolphus Cotton, Jr. II and Nora Cotton.

Survivors include his daughters: Cindy Cotton, and Debbie Trimm (Kevin), one sister: Ann Parker (Jimmy), two brothers: James Cotton (Shirley), and Wayne Cotton (Vicky), and four grandchildren: Dustin Hallmark, Peyton Trimm, Parker Trimm, and Samantha Trimm.

Pallbearers will be: Kevin Trimm, Peyton Trimm, Parker Trimm, Dustin Hallmark, Phillip Parker, and Rodney Parker.
