Sara Fisher Harbor

Mrs. Sara Fisher Harbor, age 78 of Trussville, passed away June 24, 2026 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Friday, June 26, 2026 at 12:00 from Nelson Funeral Home in Fayette. Burial will follow in El Bethel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 11:00-12:00 at the funeral home. Rev. Dyer Harbor will officiate.

She was preceded in death by her mother: Helen Fisher, father: William Fisher, sons: Michael Harbor and Jerry Harbor.

Survivors include her husband: Barry Harbor, daughter: Beth Tarassoli (Johnny), son: Paul Harbor (Lea), brothers: Dennis Fisher (Diane), Burel Fisher (Annette), Robert Fisher (Kristi), and 6 grandchildren: Charlie, Ben, Ella, John Paul, Margaret Anne, and Hillary James.

Sara worked at the family business, Fishers Men Shop for 41 years. They were members of Northside Baptist Church of Jasper for 50 Years, They worked in the children's department for many of those years and enjoyed being members of the Merry Hearts. They spent many years very active in the Golden Rod Garden Club of Jasper. They were currently attending Trinity Baptist Church, Argo, AL. They loved to travel and work in their yard and garden. Cooking was her ultimate expression of love, and she took immense joy in feeding her family and making everyone who pulled up a chair at her table feel at home.

Pallbearers will be: Bryan Fisher, Brady Fisher, Charlie Belter, Ben Belter, Cade Fisher, and John Paul Harbor.
