Sadie Fowler

Mrs. Sadie Fowler, age 90 of Fayette, passed away Friday, February 2, 2018 at Hospice of West Alabama. Funeral service will be held Saturday, February 3, 2018 at 3-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fayette City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 2-3 P.M. at the funeral home. Survivors include her daughter: Debbie Herring (Steve),  daughter in law: Helen Fowler, grandchildren: Angie Newman Scruggs (Robby), Dusti Newman Monk (Thomas), Thomas Steven Herring, Jr. (Ashley), Adam Fowler (Sandra), Stephen Fowler, Jr. (Natalie), great-grandchildren: Emmy Scruggs, Sadie Scruggs, Sela Monk, Mason Monk, Meme Scott, Julia Scott, Hayden Merchant, Alexis Merchant, Aislinn Merchant, Bailey Colburn, Garrett Colburn, Katherine Fowler, Blakely Fowler and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents: William and Josephine Maddox, husband: W.A. (Bill) Fowler, Sr., sons: W.A. (Billy) Fowler, Jr., Stephen Fowler, Sr., grandson: Brian Fowler, granddaughter: Jeanna Merchant. Honorary pallbearers are her caregivers, Flozzella Nalls, Josie Smith, Brenda Henry, Reni Stone, and Barbara Voegele. Active pallbearers will be: Aaron Nelson, Jr., Steve Herring, Jr., Stephen Fowler, Jr., Adam Fowler, Hayden Merchant, Thomas Monk III, Robby Scruggs, and Robert W. Maddox.
