Russell Bagwell

Mr. Russell Bagwell, age 52 of Fayette, passed away Tuesday, July 9, 2024 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held Friday, July 12, 2024 at 2-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Fayette Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday from 1-2 P.M. at the funeral home. Bro. Robert Parrish will officiate.

He was preceded in death by his parents: John C. and Emily Jane Bagwell, and a brother: John Scott Bagwell.

Survivors include his wife: Tracy Johnson Bagwell of Fayette, two sons: Cade Bagwell and Kent Bagwell both of Fayette, one brother: Greg Bagwell of Fayette, an uncle: Max Dubose of Fayette, and niece: Sadie Paredez.

Honorary pallbearers are: Class of 1990, Coach Tucker and the 1989 Football team, all of his former players and his former teammates at Livingston University.

Active pallbearers will be: Eddie "Bunky" Hayes, John Williams, Timmy Kizzire, Johnny Mansfield, Joe Lowery, and David Porter.
