Ronnie Dwain Morris

Mr. Ron Morris, age 74 of Fayette, passed away January 2, 2026 at Fayette Long Term Care.

A Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 10, 2025 at 2-P.M. at Fayette Civic Center. The family will receive friends from 1-2 P.M. at the Civic Center.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Jr. and Eunice Campbell Morris.

Survivors include his wife: Anita Morris of Fayette, sons: Charles Morris of Little Sandy, KY, John Gordon of Northport, and Andrew Gordon of Millport, daughters: Marina Lusk of Northport and Martha Newman of Huntsville, sisters: Nelda Geddie of Trussville, and Peggy Russell of Hartselle. 

Ron Morris was a loving, caring husband, father and grandfather. He was a wonderful friend and loved by his community. Ron was a wonderful teacher for the Tuscaloosa City and County School. He was a loved college professor at Bevill State. After he retired he opened his own pottery business. He taught students again and worked in his "dirt" making one of a kind art. Ron was a wonderful human being and will be missed by many.
