Mr. Robert Johnston, age 59 of Bankston, passed away Monday, July 17, 2023 at his residence.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.

Survivors include his father: Richard Johnston of Columbus, wife: Lana Johnston of Bankston, two sons: Robert Ferry Thomas (Lisa) of Homer, GA, and John Troy Gilbert of Opelika, brother: Richard Johnston, Jr. (Karen) of Hamilton, MS, sister: Cindy Lynch of Columbus, and three grandchildren: Sophie and Brodie Thomas, and Lillie Mae Gilbert.

He was preceded in death by his mother: Maggie Johnston, and sister: Deborah Johnston.
