Rhonda Oakes

Mrs. Rhonda Oakes, age 62 of Vernon, passed away Saturday, May 18, 2024 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 24, 2024 at 11-A.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Allen and Linda Langston Jenkins.

Survivors include two daughters: Brandi Wilson and Ashley Parrott (Randall), brother: Ricky Jenkins, her soulmate: Nathan Beatey, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers are family and friends.

Active pallbearers will be: Eddie Beard, Larry Moore, Randall Parrott, Jeff Russell, Alfred Taylor, and Gary Jenkins.
