Rhonda Bland

Mrs. Rhonda Bland, age 84 of Fayette, passed away Friday, October 27, 2023 at the Fayette Medical Center.

Graveside services will be held Sunday, October 29, 2023 at 2-P.M. from Hopewell Cemetery. Bro. Robert Parrish will officiate.

Survivors include two sons: Kim Bland of Fayette, Todd Bland of Vernon, two daughters: Joyce Webster (Mickey) and Sandra Wheat (Sam), both of Fayette, brother: James Stamps (Mary) of Tuscaloosa, 13 grandchildren, and 35 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Earl Bland, parents: Fletcher and Rhoda Stamps, and brother: John Stamps.

Mrs. Bland was a faithful member of Southside Baptist Church for years. She taught children and adult classes until her health kept her from being able to attend. You knew by being around her that she had a great love for the Lord. She also loved to read, play scrabble, and rook. She enjoyed having visitors, especially her grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, her face would light up with joy.

Honorary pallbearers will be Southside Baptist Church Sunday School, and Josh Bland.

Active pallbearers will be: Mark Cloudus, Randy Cloudus, Darren Chambless, Orry Bland, John Weddle, Lathon Webster, and HoldenShelnut.
