Patricia Kay Skelton

Mrs. Patty Skelton, age 62 of Fayette, passed away Wednesday, July 1, 2026 at her residence. 

The family will hold a private service. 

She was preceded in death by her father: Jimmy Trimm, and oldest son: Dustin Skelton. 

Survivors include her husband: Rodney Kent Skelton, mother: Ann Deloris Trimm, two sons: Cody Skelton (Shaeleia), and Jordan Skelton (Faith), brothers: James Trimm, Johnny Trimm, Richard Trimm, and Charlie Trimm, and eight grandchildren.

Patty was a loving mother and wife. She loved her grandchildren with all of her heart. Patty never met a stranger, and she had a very giving personality. She loved yard sales and to do diamond painting. Most of all she loved spending time with her friends and family. 

Honorary pallbearers are: Skyler, Bella, Chloe, Tucker, Allie, Braxton, Jacob, and Braylon. 

Active pallbearers will be: Cody Skelton, Willis McGuff, Shaeleia Skelton, Jordan Skelton, Faith Skelton, and Thomas Trimm. 

A special thanks to Amedisys Hospice and nurses and Dr. Smothers for taking great care of her during her time of sickness.
