Patricia Garner Richardson

Mrs. Patricia "Patsy" Garner Richardson, age 73 of Eldridge, passed away Saturday, April 29, 2023 at Walker Rehab in Carbon Hill.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 2-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in New River Baptist Church Cemetery. Jeff Rutledge will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 1-2 P.M. at the funeral home.

Survivors include a son: Steven Baker of Carbon Hill, daughter: Amy Aldridge (Robert) of Glen Allen, step-daughters: Cindy Alanacio Leo) and Saita Hosch (Rex), both of Brilliant, Karen Black (Jeff) of Texas, brother: Rayburn Garner (Myrna) of Carbon Hill, 4 grandchildren, 6 step-grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, 11 step-great-grandchildren, and special friend and father of her children: Roy Baker of Carbon Hill.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Jerry Richardson, parents: James and Christine Gann Garner, brothers: Roy Garner, Johnny Garner, Douglas "Elbert" Garner, Bobby Garner, sisters: Ila Mae Legate and Ruby Johnson.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Walker Rehabilitation Center Staff and Gentiva Hospice.

Active pallbearers will be: Caleb Aldridge, David Aldridge, Kevin Garner, Josh Garner, Mike Garner, and Rilee Kennedy.
