Early Tuesday Morning, July 6th, 2021, Pamela Kay Woodruff passed from this life to the next, leaving her loving husband and two children.
Pam was born on March 4th, 1954 in Fayette County, AL to Sammy and Voncille Moore. She was a 1972 graduate of Fayette County High School. She worked at Betten Manufacturing (garment plant) for about 10 years. Her last employment was with Home Health of Fayette Medical Center (DCH) where she finally retired. On February 25th, 1972, she married James Larry Woodruff. They raised two children, Jason and Michele.
Pam loved traveling when she was able to go. She loved scenic travel and going to the mountains in Gatlinburg, Tennessee. She also loved her family and was always overjoyed when loved ones would come around to visit. She never failed to always make sure to let her grandchildren know how much she loved them when they were leaving to go home. She will be sorely missed.
Pam was preceded in death by her father: Sammy Oneal Moore and her mother: Voncille (Ellis) Moore.
She is survived by her husband: James Larry Woodruff, their two children, Jason and Michele Woodruff, brother: Gary Moore, and sisters: Yvonne Elmore and Fatima Whitley, grandchildren: Heath, Luke, Heather, Abby, Jc and a great grandchild: Haven, and also a host of cousins, nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 9, 2021 at 2-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Cleveland Church of Christ Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 1-2 P.M. at the funeral home.
