Nelda Waldrop Obituary

Mrs. Nelda Waldrop, age 76 of Winfield, passed away Saturday, April 19, 2025 at UAB Hospital.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, April 23, 2025 from 5-7 P.M. at Nelson Funeral Home Chapel.

She was preceded in death by her mother: Jean Shirley, brother: Terry Robben Shirley, daughter: Verronis D. Waldrop, and grandson: Brayden Waldrop.

Survivors include her husband: Silas Calvin Waldrop Jr., of Winfield, son: Mitch Waldrop (Jennifer) of Fayette, brother: Eddie Ray Shirley (Rosalie), and two grandchildren: Dylan Chambers (Noel), and Bristol Waldrop.
