Nancy Williams McDonald

Mrs. Nancy Williams McDonald, born September 25, 1966, passed away from this life to her eternal home on July 20, 2022. She leaves behind a remarkable legacy of love for her family, friends, ant the many lives she touched.

She is survived by her husband: Jerry McDonald, a son: Cal McDonald (Julie), a daughter: Laina McDonald Breasseale (Cody), and her mother: Hilda Williams.

Mrs. Nancy was an educator and served as the Adult Education Program Director for Fayette and surrounding counties for over 25 years and retired in 2017. She was a member of Macedonia Baptist Church. Mrs. Nancy enjoyed all things: Alabama Football, crafting, and gardening. She was fond of her friends and enjoyed their weekly meeting at different restaurants around town. Her greatest pleasure was found in spending time surrounded by her family.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 23, 2022 at 3-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Shady Grove Cemetery in Bluff. Rev. C.W. Box and Bro. Carl Porter will officiate. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1-3 P.M. at the funeral home.

Honorary pallbearers are: Tucker Watkins, Will Ayres, Chase Ayres, Hayes Collins, Riley Watkins, Jackson Watkins, and D.J. Taylor.

Active pallbearers will be: Chris Williams, Gray Williams, Jake Tannehill, Chuck Collins, Justin Watkins, Tyler Watkins, and Jim Ayres.
