Michael Watkins

Mr. Michael "Punkin" Watkins, age 64 of Fayette, passed away Sunday, November 23, 2025 at his residence.

He was preceded in death by his parents: Clinton and Rose Watkins, brothers: Wayne Watkins, Bobby Watkins, sisters: Martha Simmons and Wanda Synder. 

Survivors include his wife: Adine Parks Watkins of Fayette, sons: Michael Watkins (Lindsey) of Fayette, Bradley Watkins (Harley) of Tuscaloosa, daughters: Vickie Westbrook (Richard) of Fayette, Nickie Rose (Dwayne) of Northport, Kelly Brantley (Jonathon) of Fayette, brother: Dale Watkins of Carrollton, sister: Patricia Strickland of Fayette, seventeen grandchildren and ten great-grandchildren. 

Honorary pallbearers are: Cancer Center of Winfield, Hospice Nurses and James Meadows. 

He was a hard working husband and father. He lived his life not so much by emotion but by his willingness to be there whenever he was needed.
