Mavis Osborn

Mrs. Mavis Osborn, age 81 of Berry, passed away Friday, May 12, 2023 at Fayette Long Term Care.

Funeral services will be held Monday, May 15, 2023 at 12-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Flatwoods Cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 11-A.M. till 12-P.M. at the funeral home. Bro. Kenneth Bozeman will officiate.

She was preceded in death by her husbands: Ralph Amerson and Paul Osborn, parents: Wilson and Essie Barrentine, sisters: Olivia Martin, Shelba Kaski, Reba Christian, Rachel Morris, and brother: Charles Wayne Barrentine.

Survivors include a son: Phillip Amerson[Carolyn Wilkerson] of Berry, two daughters: Sharon Moore (Dwight) of Samantha, and Kathy White (Gary) of Boaz, six grandchildren: Meagan Stephens, Seth Odom (Ashley), Jacy Simmons (Lacey), Luke Amerson, Noah Amerson, Eden Stepan (Ethan), and five great-grandchildren: Reed and Wyatt Simmons, Kassie and Jax Odom, and McKenzie Amerson.

Pallbearers will be: Luke Amerson, Noah Amerson, Seth Odom, Ethan Stepan, Lacey Simmons, and Michael Morris.
