Maury Sanders

Mrs. Maury Sanders, age 85 of Fayette, passed away Saturday, September 10, 2022 at Hospice of West Alabama.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 13, 2022 at 1-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Fayette City Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 12-1 P.M. at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Maury Young and Roberta Culpepper Young, two brothers: Woody Roberts and Judd Roberts, and sister: Millie Thomas.

Survivors include a son: Hank Dodson (Debbie) of Winfield, two daughters: Julie Dodson, and Laura Sanders both of Fayette,  grandson: Kyle Perkins, granddaughter: Kelly Henson, and one great-grandson: Bentley Roby.
