Mrs. Mary Vaudean Plyman, age 99 of Fayette, passed away October 24, 2023 at Fayette Long Term Care.
She was preceded in death by her husband: James O. Plyman, sisters: Bessie Johnson and Willena Posey, brothers: Oneal Plyler and Lee Allen Plyler, Jr. and parents:Lee Allen Plyler, Sr. and Lovie Pearl Owens Plyler.
Survivors include her son: James Lee Plyman (Angela) of Belk, grandson: Jason Plyman (Bridgett), great-grandchildren: Bailey, Brooks, and Saydee Plyman, step-grandchildren: Christie Nuckols (Chris) and Allen Morgan, step-great-grandchildren: Matthew Morgan and Landon Nuckols.
Funeral services will be held Friday, October 27, 2023 at 2-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery. Bro. Lamar Cox and Bro. Barry Kelly will officiate. The family will receive friends Thursday from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home.
A special thanks to her extended family, Fayette Long Term Care. All the nurses and CNA's were special to her. She was "Granny" to everyone.
Honorary pallbearers will be: Fayette Long Term Care and Amedisys.
Active pallbearers will be: Brooks Plyman, William Swails, Landon Nuckols, Matthew Morgan, Randy Parker, Hunter Knight, and Ernie Nabors.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Antioch Cemetery fund.
