Mary Hayes Obituary
Mrs. Mary Hayes, age 81 of Millport, passed away Sunday, March 15, 2026 at her residence.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, March 18, 2026 at 10-A.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Oak Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home. Bro. David Wilson will officiate.
She was preceded in death by her parents: Fletcher and Allie Hudson Williams, first husband: Buddy Terry, second husband: Elmer Gene Hayes, daughter: Trina Williams, son-in-law: Jacob Griffin, and sister: Bobbie Taylor.
Survivors include her daughters: Rita Swiney (Jhonnie), and Angela Griffin, brothers: Billie Williams (Alpha), and Larry Williams (Priscilla), one sister: Ann Jones, and three grandchildren: April Watkins, Jayce Griffin, and Lily Griffin.
Honorary pallbearers are: Amedisys Hospice Care, and Oak Ridge Baptist Church members.
Active pallbearers will be: Thomas Williams, Stanley Williams, Chris Jones, Matthew Jones, Fred Williams and Simon Smith.
Mrs. Hayes was a member of Covin Baptist Church.
