Mary Griffin

Mrs. Mary Griffin, age 83 of Fayette, passed away Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Fayette Long Term Care.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 27, 2025 at 2-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Visitation will be Thursday from 1-2 P.M. at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years: Richard Griffin, parents: Murry and Ethel Rosa Wyres Pendley, sister: Nell Kimbrell, granddaughter: Amanda Nicole Ellis, and and infant brother.

Survivors include Virginia Diane Griffin Ellis of Guntersville, Christina of Boaz (Joseph), Jade, Ian, Angela, Andrea Taylor of Boaz, (Joseph), Eli Taylor, Ricky Dale Griffin (Cynthia), Jesse, Alex, Tammy Renee Griffin Johnson (Bill) of Winfield, Jonathon, Jacob, Felicia Morrison of Winfield, Melissa Arney of West Point, MS, (Thomas), Isaac, Katelyn, Barry Jefferson Griffin "Jeff" (Nicole) of OK, Samantha, Tyler, Ethan, Madelyn.

Honorary pallbearers are grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Also would I like to mention that she was really liked in the Fayette Community, and she was a special mother to her kids.
