Mary Chambless

Mrs. Mary Chambless, age 71 of Bankston, passed away December 6, 2025 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.

The family will receive friends Monday, December 8, 2025 from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Donald Chambless, parents: Leon and Louise Hocutt, brother: Leon Hocutt, Jr., and sister: Alice Woods.

She is survived by a son: Michael Gurley of Bankston, daughter: Jamie Wyers (Jeff) of Townley, brother: Jimmy Hocutt (Joanne) of Berry, sisters: Dean Sullinger (Jim) and Dianne Knight (Donnie), both of Berry, 5 grandchildren: Sadie Wyers, Katie Wyers, Reed Gurley, Allison Gurley, and Kayla Barrett.
