Martine Baccus Webster

Mrs. Martine Baccus Webster, 83, passed away on December 16, 2021, in Franklin, TN.

Martine was born in Brilliant, AL. She was one of three children born to Wilburn Baccus and Jewell Hall Baccus.  She studied at Winfield High School, The University of North Alabama, and The University of Alabama. She married James Rayburn Webster of Winfield, AL. They were together 54 years, until his death in 2012. They had three children, James Lance Webster, Letitia Webster, and Marlec Webster. She resided in Fayette, AL for 46 years. She enjoyed painting, cooking, reading, and growing beautiful flowers. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and friend.

She is preceded in death by her husband James Rayburn Webster, parents Wilburn Baccus and Jewell Hall Baccus, and sister Patty Baccus Christian.

Martine is survived by son James Lance Webster; daughters Letitia Webster and Marlec Webster; grandchildren, Allison Paige Koesters, Grayson Haas Koesters, James Conyers Webster, and Chatfield Baccus Webster; brother, Virgil Thomas Baccus and sister-in-law Joan Fowler Baccus; nephew Thomas Allen Baccus, and nieces Meredith Baccus Kuykendall, and Amanda Felicia Christian, as well as four great nieces and nephews.

Martine was laid to rest beside her husband in a private family service.
