Mr. Marshall Lowery, age 91 of Bankston, passed away Sunday, May 31, 2025 at Princeton Baptist Hospital in Birmingham.
Funeral services will be held Monday, June 2, 2025 at 2-P.M. from New Liberty Free Will Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive friends Monday from 1-2 P.M. at the church.
He was preceded in death by his wife: Nell Lowery, son-in-law: Jimmy Feltman, parents: Tildon and Clemmie Lowery, and a host of brothers and sisters.
Survivors include a son: Marty Lowery (Billie Jo) of Fayette, daughter: Jeannie Feltman of Fayette, two brothers: Dan Lowery (Linda) of Fayette, and Wallace Lowery (Ruth) of Northport, two grandchildren: Jeremy Lowery (Lane) and Kyle Lowery (Alicia), and three great-grandchildren: Kristen Sexton (Will), Banks Lowery and Jax Lowery.
Marshall was born to Tildon and Clemmie Lowery May 24, 1934. He married Nell Sands February 19, 1954 and was married for 70 years before she passed away. Marshall lived a simple life with few wants. His favorite past time were owning horses and dogs, coon hunting and spending time with his family. His adult working years were spent at Fayco and Arvin. He attended and was active at New Liberty FWB Church up until his later years. He was known to many at work as Gunsmoke but to his grandchildren and many others, he was known as Bobo.
Pallbearers will be: Colby Odom, James Sands, Will Sexton, Billy Handley, Banks Lowery and Timmy Lowery.
