Marsha Spruill

Mrs. Marsha Spruill, age 75 of Belk, passed away Thursday, January 25, 2024 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, January 28, 2024 at 4-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Higdon Church of God Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 3-4 P.M. at the funeral home. Bro. Tim Henegar and Bro. Darian Holcombe will officiate.

Survivors include her husband: Jerrell Spruill of Belk, three daughters: Marcella Grace McKay (Randall) of Foxworth, MS, Melonie Foley (Marty) of Coaling, AL, Laticia Holcombe (Darian) of Columbiana, AL, sister: Terri Harrison (Jeff) of Kennedy, two brothers: Michael Aldridge (Judy) of Florence, Steve Aldridge (Ellen) of Pensecola, FL, 9 grandchildren: Kyle McKay (Lynzie), Brenton McKay (Casey), Jessica Smith (Evan), Allison Rose (Gabriel), Kelvin Holcombe (Kristen), Charles Holcombe (Maria), Mitchell Delane Foley (Zye), Micah Alexander Foley, Matthew Austin Foley (Kayla), and 8 great-grandchildren: Addison Grace McKay, Aidan McKay, Ella Rose McKay, Lily Kate McKay, Landen Smith, Grayson Smith, Kolton Smith, and Isabella Rose.

She was preceded in death by a granddaughter: Maegan Nicole Foley, parents: Fred and Muriel Kyles Aldridge, sister: Rosalyn McDaniel, and two brothers: Gary Aldridge and Tony Aldridge.

She was the granddaughter of Rev. Clifton Kyles and Mertie Delphie Livingston Kyles. Rev. Clifton Kyles was a Sunday preacher on the WRAG radio station in Carrollton, AL. She would sing with her sister Rosalyn and Barbara Long on the program for her grandfather.

Honorary pallbearers will be: Kelvin Holcombe, Michael Aldridge, Steve Aldridge, and Don Aldridge.

Active pallbearers will be: Kyle McKay, Brent McKay, Randall McKay, Micah Foley, Charles Holcombe, and Gabriel Rose.
