Margreet Long Obituary
Mrs. Margreet Long, age 96 of Ft. Payne, formerly of Fayette passed away Thursday, August 1, 2019 in Ft. Payne.
Funeral services will be held Sunday, August 4, 2019 at 2-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Boone Cemetery. The family will receive friends Sunday from 1-2 P.M. at the funeral home.
Survivors include one son: Jerry F. Long (Carole) of Ft. Payne, brother: Bobby Honeycutt (Betty) of Northport, two grandchildren: Jerry Kendall Long, and Sherri Long Stewart (Johnny), and three great-grandchildren: John D. Long, Johnny "Trey" Stewart III, and Caroline Stewart.
She was preceded in death by her husband: Colon Long, and her parents: Walter and Annie Honeycutt.
Pallbearers will be: Terry Long, Jerry Kendall Long, John D. Long, Trey Stewart, Randy McArthur, Larry McArthur, and Don Byars.
