Louise Benton

Mrs. Louise Benton, age 85 of Fayette, passed away Saturday, September 17, 2022 at Diversicare in Winfield.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, September 20, 2022 at 11-A.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Bro. Billy Carl Sullivan will officiate. The family will receive friends Monday from 5-7 P.M. at the funeral home.

Survivors include her son: Curtis Benton (Cecilia) of Fayette, grandchildren Jeremy Benton and Cody Benton, both of Fayette, Lindsay Nichols (Brandon) of Cleveland, MS, great-grandchildren: Kade, Riley, Maggie and Alexandra Nichols, all of Cleveland, MS.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Alfred Benton, parents: Henry Shirley Duckworth and Mildred Stewart Duckworth, brothers: J.T. Duckworth, Jerrel Duckworth, Charles Duckworth, Raymond Duckworth, sisters: Willie Grey Perkins, Carrie Lou Crowson, Sharon Trimm, and Margaret Roberts.

Pallbearers are Jeremy Benton,Cody Benton,Brandon Nichols,Brady Perkins,Blaine Roberts and Kenneth Gray

Honorary pallbearers are west wing nurses at Diversicare of Winfield and Hospice of NW Alabama
