Linda Jenkins

Mrs. Linda Jenkins, age 81 of Kennedy, passed away Friday, May 3, 2024 at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS.

Funeral services will be held Friday, May 10, 2024 at 11-A.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Wesley Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday evening from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home. Bro. James Godsey will officiate.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Allen Jenkins, parents: William Harvey Langston and Clara Chandler Langston, sister: Freeda Russell, and brother: John Langston.

Survivors include a daughter: Rhonda Oakes (Nathan Batey) of Vernon, son: Ricky Jenkins of Vernon, 4 grandchildren: Brandi Wilson, Ashley Parrott (Randall), Josh Jenkins and Hunter Jenkins, 6 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be: Nathan Batey, Landon Wilson, Alfred Taylor, Jeff Russell, Gary Jenkins, and Kevin Moore.
