Linda Ann Cox

Mrs. Linda Cox, age 77 of Fayette, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024 at Fayette Long Term Care. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 30, 2024 at 2-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Sand Springs Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday from 1-2 P.M. at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Gordon Marcus Cox, Sr., son: Gordon Marcus Cox, Jr., parents: Rayford and Kathleen Manasco, brothers: Ralph, Rex, Steve and Johnny Manasco, and sister: Sue Tucker.

Survivors include four daughters: Linda Gail Brown, Vickie Ann Cox, Tracey Marcus Cox, and Ginger Marie Woolbright, sister: Eyvonne Howton, and sister-in-law: Dimpleah Manasco, 11 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren.

Honorary pallbearers are: Nursing Staff at Fayette Long Term Care and West Alabama Hospice.

Active pallbearers will be her grandsons.
