Lenora Ann Holsonback

Mrs. Lenora Ann Holsonback, age 81 of Kennedy, passed away November 3, 2021 at Morning View Estates in Fayette.

Mrs. Holsonback was born October 4, 1940 in Kennedy, AL.

She was a member of Kennedy Baptist Church and served as pianist for 52 years. She loved playing the piano for the church, weddings, funerals, and inspired us with her musical talent that God had blessed her with.

She worked for First National Bank in Fayette, AL for almost 40 years as a bank teller.

She was honored for her contribution and support of Gospel Music 2012 Hall of Fame-Lamar Co. Gospel Music Association.

Ray Holsonback was truly the love her life.

She loved the Lord with all her heart and always provided a Christian home, where we lived and learned about our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Lenora Ann  Holsonback was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Ray Holsonback, and sister: Kathleen Hutchenson.

Survivors include her daughter: Melinda Montgomery of Kennedy, AL, son: Brian Holsonback of Kennedy, AL, sister: Billie Mae Stembridge of Daphne, AL, brother: Maurice Morgan Brown of St. Augustine, FL, brother-in-law and sister-in-law: Glen Holsonback and Zettie Holsonback of Kennedy, AL. She was a special grandmother to her grandchildren.: Hanna Holsonback, Chad Higdon, LaShea Carrell, Marcie Porter, and great-grandchildren: Harrison Higdon, Liam Pinkerton, Roman Porter, and Livia Porter.

A celebration day will be held Sunday, November 7, 2021 at 3-P.M. from Kennedy Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Kennedy City Cemetery. Bro. Glen Boman will officiate.The family will receive friends Sunday from 2-3 P.M. at the church.

Pallbearers will be: Chad Higdon, Mike Holsonback, Michael Holsonback, Daryl Dollar, Danny Dollar, and Jeff Crowley.
