Larry Whitley

Mr. Larry Whitley, age 79 of Fayette, passed away Monday, July 1, 2025 at his residence. 

Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 3, 2025 at 12-P.M. from Sand Springs Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10-A.M. till 12-P.M. at the church. 

Survivors include his wife: Sandra Whitley of Fayette, daughter: Kelley DuBose (Russell) of Tuscaloosa, two sons: Van Whitley (Tina ) of Hamilton, and Tom Whitley (Heather) of Fayette, four grandchildren: Jackson DuBose (Shyla) from San Antonio, TX, Harrison Whitley (Tanya) of Vestavia, AL, Elijah Whitley of Tuscaloosa, and Tucker Whitley of Fayette. 

Honorary pallbearers are: Dale Whitley, Wayne Nelson, Members of Sand Springs Baptist Church, Aerial Walker, and Hospice of Northwest Alabama. 

In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be sent to Sand Springs Cemetery Fund, Inc. 2391 Highway 129, Fayette, AL 35555

Active pallbearers will be: Van Whitley, Tom Whitley, Jackson Dubose, Harrison Whitley, Elijah Whitley, and Tucker Whitley.
