Karen Purser

Mrs. Karen Purser, age 76 of Columbiana, formerly of Fayette, passed away June 26, 2023 at Grandview Medical Center in Birmingham.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 29, 2023 at 11-A.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Mt. Lebanon Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her husband: Douglas Purser, parents: James William Harden and Mattie Lois Miles Harden, and brother: James William Harden, Jr.

Survivors include her daughter: Heather Hopson (Randy) of Columbiana, son: Michael Purser (Meredith) of Spanish Fort, sister: Ellen Harris of Birmingham, and 7 grandchildren: Ryan Grater, Jeremiah Hopson, Jacob Hopson, Zander Purser, Wyatt Purser, Bennett Purser, and James Connor Purser.

Pallbearers will be: Michael Purser, Randy Hopson, Zander Purser, Jeremiah Hopson, Jacob Hopson, and Wyatt Purser.
