June Watkins Mealer

Mrs. June Mealer, age 80 of Fayette, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2020 at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.

Graveside service will be held Friday, July 10, 2020 at 2:30-P.M. from Fayette Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Friday from 1-2 P.M. at Nelson Funeral Home.

She was preceded in death by husbands: Arnold Dennis, and Henry Mealer, parents: William "Tommy" and Ona Meadows Watkins, brother: Donald Watkins, brother-in-law: James Sims, son-in-laws: Jeff Rasberry, and Poli Martinez, and step-son: Ace Mealer.

Survivors include one son: Greg Dennis, four daughters: Kaye Anthony (Charles), Cindy Rasberry, Sandra Martinez, and Karen Box (Steve), one brother: Dale Watkins (Mary), two sisters: Marie Sims, and Patsy Baird (Richard), grandchildren: Susan Carter (Brett), Carla Taylor (Nick), April Tomlin (Philip), Cheyenne Rasberry, Victor Martinez, Roberto Martinez (Zy), Graciela Martinez, Cody Kimbrell, Allen Dennis, and Racheal Dennis, great-grandchildren: Henry and Annie Carter, Luke, Sam, and John Taylor, Alex and Rosalina Martinez, Tyler and Ryan Lawson, and a sister-in-law: Helen Watkins, and a host of nieces and nephews.
