Julie Petty

Mrs. Julie Petty, age 65 of Fayette, passed away Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 9, 2021 at 2-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Miracles Of Faith Cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 12-2 P.M. at the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband: Robert Petty of Fayette, sons: Michael Petty (Lori) and Jason Petty (Kayla), both of Fayette, brothers: Larrel Harville of Lillian, Jay Harville (Norma) of Glasgow, KY, sisters: Sandee Perez (Bill), Margie Klein (Tony) and Elizabeth Harville-Tudjen, all of Illinois, 6 grandchildren, and 1 great-grandchild on the way.

She was preceded in death by her parents: John and Claudine McCool Harville, brothers: Doug Harville and Wayne Harville, and sisters: Joyce Harville and Elizabeth "Kitten" Harville.

She was born and raised in Chicago, IL. She moved to Fayette in 1995. She was a devoted stay at home wife and mother. Julie enjoyed her plants and gardening, and supporting her kids and grandkids in their school sports. She was super excited to be expecting her first great-granddaughter in May 2021. Julie will be missed and loved by many nieces, nephews, friends, grandkids and family.
