John Albert Hamm

Mr. John Albert Hamm, age 92 of Huntsville, formerly of Fayette, passed away October 20, 2025 at Regency Healthcare and Rehab Center in Huntsville, AL.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, October 28, 2025 at 3-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Camp Comfort Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service from 2-3 P.M. at the funeral home.

Survivors include his daughters: Dianne Hamm Davis (Paul) of Madison, AL and Mary Evelyn Hamm of Birmingham, AL,  sons: James Mitchell Hamm (Joanne) of Edwardsville, KS and John Michael Hamm (Cathy Martin) of Greenwood, IN, and John Russell Hamm of Northport, AL,  sister: Brenda Aldridge of Belk, AL, 12 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great-grandchild.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife: Evelyn Watkins Hamm, parents: Bruce and Emma Johnston Hamm, sisters: Sarah Kate Hamm Dobbs and Thelma Hamm Rowe, and grandson: Shawn Brown.

Active pallbearers will be: Tiger Hamm, Jay Hamm, Michael Davis, Carter Posey, Joe Conn, David Rowe, Danny Joe Rainwater, Mark Davis, and Grady Hamm.

Junior pallbearers will be: Zane Pendergast, Cannon Young, and Asher Young.
