After the mills closed, he worked at the Fayette Medical Center where he was loved by everyone who knew him. He will be missed by them all.
Jerry was known for his kindness, humor, and ability to make others laugh with his Donald Duck impressions earning him the nickname of Darkwing Duck or DW by some of his beloved nieces and nephews.
Jerry's faith in God and the love of his family brought him his greatest joy. His love of fishing was surpassed only by his love of camping and going to the beach.
Jerry was a well known handyman. He could fix anything, and also could draw anything he had a picture of.
