Jerry Barnes Obituary
Mr. Jerry Barnes, age 83 of Fayette, passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2022 at Northwest Medical Center in Winfield.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, October 29, 2022 at 11-A.M. from Nelson Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Caines Ridge cemetery. The family will receive friends Saturday from 10-11 A.M. at the funeral home.
He was preceded in death by his parents: Thomas Edward Barnes and Martha Woods Barnes, two grandsons: Derrick Barnes and Tyler Barnes, brothers: Bryan Barnes, Johnny Banks Barnes, and Joe Barnes, sisters: Ruth Bobo, Jean Pilkington, Ann Chandler, and Mary Woods Gill.
Survivors include his wife: Joan Barnes of Fayette, two sons: Jerry Russell Barnes (Glennette) of Fayette, Thomas Robert Barnes (Karen) of Fayette, two daughters: Donna Cannon (James) of Fayette, and Jena Beverly of FL, eight grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be: Bob Baker, David Baker, Robert Barnes, Blake Bedsole, Tim Bobo, and Wes McDougald.
