Janice D. Owens

Mrs. Janice D. Owens, age 67 of Fayette, passed away Monday, December 11, 2023 at DCH Regional Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 13, 2023 at 1-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Camp Comfort/Housh Chapel Cemetery. Bro. Wil Corbett will officiate. The family will receive friends Wednesday from 12-1 p.m. at the funeral home.

Survivors include her husband: Steve Owens of Fayette, daughter: Jo Pennington (Robert) of Fayette, sons: Nicholas Brashier (Tammy) of Winfield and Daniel Owens of Zachery, LA, four brothers: Jimmy Dale Dozier (Susan) of Briarfield, Wayne Dozier of Kennedy, Andy Dozier of Hubbertville, Donald Dozier of Fayette, sister: Karen Tucker (Dennis) of Bankston, 9 grandchildren, and 9 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents: Verlon Jackson Dozier and Nannie B. Brazel Dozier, and two brothers: James Dozier and Jackie Dozier.

Pallbearers will be: Tyler Brashier, Zac Nichols, Cody Pilkington, Donald Dozier, Wayne Dozier, Andy Dozier, Jimmy Dale Dozier, and Billy Joe Owens.
