Janet Sullivan Watts

Janet Sullivan Watts, age 54 of Fayette, Alabama, received her brand new body on January 20, 2022. She was born September 30, 1968 to Billy Carl and Brenda Sullivan. Janet was the second child of five and was the tiny spitfire of the family.

She loved people and enjoyed her time working at LB’s BBQ in Fayette where she was known for her smile and friendly personality.

Janet graduated from Kennedy High School in 1985 and attended Brewer State Community College.

Her pride and joy was her son, Blake until her grandson, Gabriel came along. Gabriel was the light of her life, just as his father had been for many years, and she enjoyed her time as Granna. She was also looking forward to a new granddaughter named Isabella Grace who is scheduled to join us in March.

Today, we celebrate the life of Janet Sullivan Watts and the total and complete healing she received.  Janet is preceded in death by her infant son, Nicholas Craig Sanford, her “cowboy” Junior Watts,  and her mother, Brenda Sullivan.

She is survived by her son, Blake Sanford (Shana), her grandson Gabriel, her father, Billy Carl Sullivan, her sisters, Sherry Corbett (Rodney), Gina Selman (Jason), Crystal Phillips (Wade), her brother, Bill Sullivan (Candace), and nieces and nephews who lovingly called her JanJan.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 22, 2022 at 2-P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Fayette Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Saturday from 1-2 P.M. at the funeral home. Wade Phillips will officiate.

Pallbearers will be: Jake Byars, Carson Sullivan, Reed Phillips, Sam Selman, Kentlee Trimm, and Kason Trimm.
