Jane Roberts

Mrs. Shelia M. "Jane" Roberts, age 68 of Fayette, passed away Wednesday, November 17, 2021 at her residence.

Mrs. Roberts was born in Ward, Alabama in 1953 and resided in Fayette, Alabama the last 65 years.

Funeral services will be held Friday, November 19, 2021 at 6:30 P.M. from Nelson Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. Dr. Dale Mitchell will officiate.  The family will receive friends Friday from 5- 6:30 P.M. at the funeral home.

She was preceded in death by her parents: John Washington "Bill" Meadows and Carrie M. Meadows, four sisters: Viva Mae Meadows, Billie Jean Johnson, Johnnie Moore, Glenda Chambless, grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Survivors include her husband: James T. "Tommy" Roberts of Fayette, son: Jamie Roberts (Beverly) of Fayette, daughters: Jodi Hollingsworth (Barry) of Glen Allen, and Jennifer Smith of Fayette, sisters: Judy Bonner of Jasper, and Patricia Moore of Brooksville, FL, grandchildren: Jordan Roberts (Jackie), Morgan Roberts (Hanna), Robert Thomley (Sarah), Jon Thomley (Brittany), Stormi Jenkins (Zack), Will Gray (Kalista), Deven Hollingsworth, Craig Hollingsworth (Heather), Tyler Simpson (Taylor), Drew Simpson (Summer).

Honorary pallbearers will be: Knox and Christian Thomley, Harlan and Declan Parker, and Kase Jenkins.

Active pallbearers will be: Jordan Roberts, Craig Hollingsworth, Tyler Simpson, Will Gray, Drew Simpson, Christian Burnett, Parker Dodd, Deven Hollingsworth, Zack Jenkins.
